Jeffrey Andrew Boynton

Jeffrey Andrew Boynton, 49, of Moodus and formerly of Higganum, died suddenly after a brief illness. Born July 26, 1969 in Hartford he was the son of Charles E. and the late Barbara (Shafer) Boynton. Jeffrey had worked as a bartender for many years and had most recently worked as a sales associate. Jeffrey was an avid fisherman and was a Boston Red Sox and Pittsburg Steelers Fan. Besides his father he is survived by his son Nicholas Boynton  and his former wife and mother of his son Sherry Mucik of Higganum, his brother Jared Boynton and wife Lynn Lyska and their son Donovan of East Haddam, his sister Amy Zaferacopoulos and husband Peter  and their sons Alex, Adam, PJ of Littleton, MA, and uncle and aunt Kenneth and Judy Boynton of Cheshire. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton on Friday Oct. 19th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Burial will be private at 1st Church Cemetery in East Haddam.
