George Michael King, 77, of East Hampton, Connecticut, passed away in his sleep on October 9, 2018 from complications from a stroke.
A private funeral service will be held on October 31, 2018 at Lakeview Cemetary in East Hampton. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Spencer Funeral Home.
George was born in New Jersey on September 4, 1941. Upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Once honorably discharged, he received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State College.
George worked as a computer programmer for various major corporations. He then went on to work the fair circuit making and selling jewelry in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida. His final job was working at BJ's.
George is survived by his four children, Debra Fengler, Sandra King, Mary Chenard, and Michael King, seven grandchildren, one great- grandchild and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National Stroke Association.
