Violette & Family, it always hurts so much when we lose someone we love. We were neighbors on Chapman road with Violette & Paul. Violette, I know how much you love your family as you often shared stories about how proud you were of all of them. Having lost a son to a brain tumor at age 7, we know that it is never too late to express our sincere sadness over your loss. Thank you for honestly stating in the obituary that when Jonathan succumbed to to drugs & alcohol you lost the child you knew. This was a brave comment & perhaps it will
influence many. Sincerely, Kathleen & Paul Colburn

My heartfelt sympathy to each of you.  Please take comfort in knowing that our heavenly Father will soon put an end to all the woes of the earth. He has an appointed time in which by means of his Kingdom (Matthew 6:9,10)   he will wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes and all the things that causes death will be removed forever.

My heart just breaks for you. I did not know Jonathan or the Thomassian family, but saw the obituary in the paper and have a 9 year old son who sounds very similar to Jonathan and cut it out and had him read it. I made sure to have a talk with him and explain what happened. I can't imagine what you are going through but thank you for sharing and hope my son and or anyone else can learn from this tragic loss.
With Sympathy,
Keirsten Riccio

My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beloved, Jonathan. Please know that Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ are aware of your pain and they care for you. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) . I pray that you are able to find comfort in God's promise of paradise where there will be no more pain and sorrow (Revelation 21:4,5)  and the many wonderful  memories of your loved one becoming a reality in the future resurrection in paradise.  (Acts 24:15). Please accept my sincere condolences.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I admire you for being so open in his obituary as addition is a disease and too many of our kids are losing the battle to it. I'm so very sorry for your loss. No parent should have to endure this.

Jonathan played often with my grandson Levi, as he lived nearby. I cared for my grandchildre n several weeks during summertime, and Jonathan was cared for by his Grandma Loretta. I remember Jonathan as a energetic, well mannered sweet young boy who loved to stay for lunch if we were having macaroni and cheese his favorite. I am saddened to see his has left way too soon to be an angel. My heart breaks for his family.

Jonathan and my son Levi were such great
Friends growing up as neighbors on Sherwood Lane. He was a gentle soul and always had a smile and a joke. A new angel has now arrived but I will always remember that sweet boy who loved playing paintball and eating macaroni and cheese. Sending love and prayers to the family. My heart is aching for your loss.
