Theresa Tess `Vasquenza

Theresa (Tess) Vasquenza, 61, of East Hartford, was called from this life Thursday February 22nd. Born Feb.8, 1957 in Hartford CT. She is predeceased by her parents, Joan (Ericson) Vasquenza and Francis (Sonny) Vasquenza. Tess grew up in East Windsor CT  and was a graduate of East Windsor High School. She went on to receive her nursing degree and worked in a variety of health care facilities as both a practicing nurse and medical case manager. Tess lived a true Christian life of caring and giving to others. If you were fortunate to have Tess in your life, you were an immediate recipient of her warm heart, faithful friendship, and unconditional love. To many she was "Auntie" which became both a term of endearment and a return of that love. Her gifts in heaven will be well deserved.          Tess is survived by her brother Michael Vasquenza of East Hampton CT., his wife Mary Lou and their two sons Nicholas Vasquenza of Danbury CT, his wife Jacquelyn, and Matthew Vasquenza of Cincinnati OH, a sister Laura Sinsigallo and her husband Richard from Manchester CT, and their two children, Gina and Sam.                                                           A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday March 1st at 10:30 AM in St. Patrick Church East Hampton. In lieu of flowers in this season of Lent, the family wishes that memorial donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul House, Middletown, CT. 06457.
