Robert P. Banning Jr. 57, born March 31, 1960, son of the late Robert P. and Judith (Staplins) Banning Sr. passed away on Feb. 11, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. Robert is survived by his brothers John, Paul and Edwin Banning of East Hampton, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by a brother Franklin Banning and a sister Alice (Banning) Forbes. The funeral will be private. Robert’s family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support and will be hosting a memorial picnic in the spring, date to follow.
