Philip Thomas Pitts, 78, of East Hampton, beloved husband of Eleanor “Ellie” (Samuelson) Pitts died peacefully on Saturday Dec. 9th at Marlborough Health and Rehab. Born May 4, 1939 in Quincy, MA he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Mary Pitts. Philip had proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He had retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he had worked as an inspector. Besides his wife Ellie he is survived by his children Charles Pitts, Lisa Rodgers and Julie Blanchette, and many loving grandchildren.
