To all Nick's family.
My sincere condolences to you all in the loss of your father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Although I don't know many of you, I can tell you of memories of Nick and Louise, and of Ricky and Karen. It's hard for me to recall memories of Brian and Kevin, but I can remember me and my brother Billy playing at your house on Hickory Road, Ricky and Karen. We were little kids then. Since my mom is the late Ruth Blish Gidley, wife of my late step-dad Norman Gidley, I have memories of my mom talking about Nick and Louise. She always said that Louise was her best friend forever. My mom and step-dad would tell me that they often got to visit with Nick and Louise when they were camping at Camp Lemora. They were good friends then. My most cherished memory of Nick and Louise is when my mom suddenly died in 1995. At the time, Nick and Louise were camping in Texas. They immediately packed up and Nick drove non-stop to Orlando in Florida to be at my mom's funeral. That meant the world to me and my family, especially Norman.
May Nick rest in peace with his beloved wife Louise, and from time to time, party with old friends Ruthie and Norman.
God bless your family, Love, Ruth Ann

From my house to the Nichols family. My sincere condolences to you all. I knew Fred well, as I was the youngest guest at his wedding. (2 weeks old) Our families were very good friends. Fred was just the kindest, quite, gentle man. RIP Fred, and may god bless.
