I’m sending my deepest condolences to all of Deb’s family and friends. I was deeply saddened when I heard of her passing. I only knew her briefly due to being softball moms but it was long enough to know she was a great person and loved her children dearly. Today would have been our younger sister Debbie’s 50th Birthday. Unfortunately, today we are gathered in Connecticut for her funeral and remember her and her life. Debbie died unexpectedly last week. She left quite a legacy, including her 3 children, Krystle, Kaylee, CJ, and her 5 grandchildren. A personal thanks to all the family, relatives, friends, colleagues, and the community for their tremendous love, prayers, support, and generosity during this difficult and challenging time. To Kaylie, CJ, Krystle, and to all of my sister Debbie's loved ones, relatives, friends, & colleagues, my and our family's condolences, thoughts, and prayers to each of you and yours. Debbie was the youngest and I was oldest of Joe Sr and Fredeline ("Tootie") Burleski's 4 children. I actually still remember the cold, wintry day she was born 50 years ago on December 16. Debbie was very truly very special. I always considered myself very blessed to not only have Debbie as part of my life but as my sister as well. She touched so many lives and left a great legacy starting with CJ, Kaylie, and Krystle all of whom she loved very much. We will continue to be blessed with Debbie's many memories.
