Dear Dill Family: My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Alan. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as it says at Ecclesiastes 3:11, we were created with everlasting life in view. But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God has promised that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings. (Isaiah 25:8) God has also promised that he will return Alan to you as it says at John 5:28,29. You can also learn more about what happens when a loved one dies at JW.org.
Sincerely,
Susan

I will always miss you greeting me with "Hey young lady" even though I was only a year and a half younger. You were always kind. R.I.P.

Please allow me to offer my condolences to the, Dill family with these healing words: Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” (John 11:25) On one occasion, When Martha caught sight of her Master, she put into words the thought that had been tormenting her and Mary for days: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” Still, hope and faith were not dead in Martha. She added: “Yet even now I know that whatever you ask God for, God will give you.” Jesus immediately said something to strengthen her hope: “Your brother will rise.”—John 11:21-23; Acts 24:15; 2 Peter 3:13. Yes, the resurrection hope is a real source of comfort to those who have lost loved ones. It can be for you too! I am very sorry for your loss. May God's Word comfort you and your family. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com
